Vehicle Safety: Brakes

Which do your brake pads resemble?

In terms of safe driving, being able to stop is one of the most important things. If your Brakes are worn out, they may not allow you to stop properly. Brake Pads and Rotors are often changed every 40,000 miles on a car, but you may be able to go longer — or you may need to change them sooner — if you experience some of the following symptoms.
Is your Vehicle taking longer to stop when you hit the Brakes? Are your Brakes squeaking, vibrating, or squealing every time you hit them? Do you hear a grinding sound when you press down on the Brake pedal? All three of these may be indicators that your Brake Pads are worn and need replacing. Please stop by your local Auto Repair Shop and have a Mechanic professionally assess your Vehicle’s Brake Pads and Rotors.
We are happy to check your Brakes in Clearview at Daltons Midway Service, to keep you safely on the road! Give us a call at 360-668-7111.
